Inspiring Future
The Weeping Angels community robotics team is dedicated to fostering a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in our community. We empower students to explore, innovate, and excel in STEM fields through hands-on learning and mentorship.
We also have fun in the process.

Our Journey and Values
The Weeping Angels robotics team was created by students that have a passion to learn and enjoy working as a team. They recognize that great success can occur when all team members believe in the journey. Our mission is to inspire students in STEM, robotics, and to ignite curiosity for problem solving.
We have 11 students from the community from 6 different school districts. With these diverse backgrounds they collaborate and communicate to be one team.
Even though our team has just formed its members have participated in 20 FTC competitions on the local and national level. In these competitions they were able to showcase their design/ build expertise, programming abilities and presentation skills.
The team members have over 26 years of FIRST robotics experience. This experience ranges from FLL to FTC robotics. The students are committed to community engagement and education in robotics.
We have completed over 500 volunteer hours and believe giving back to the community is a major part of being a community team.

To prepare for the upcoming season the team works to develop its skills over the summer. They start with an idea, create a design, talk through iterations. They then prototype this design and finalize. The next steps are the manufacturing, build and programming.
